Our Story

It all started…

where so many ideas do, in a bar. We were enjoying some après-ski drinks with friends. Those friends happen work at an outdoor company with professional athletes. We started talking about how we identify as average athletes - still athletes, but ones who have to go to work on Monday and just want to get down the ski mountain without a broken leg. We suggested that the company sponsor “average athletes” - specifically us. :) That didn’t happen, but Average Athlete stuck. We created this brand because it makes us smile and because we believe that every individual has the potential to embrace their unique athletic journey. We want you to smile and laugh and be supported along the way.

Our mission is to inspire, empower and support everyday athletes. We celebrate progress, encourage perseverance, and promote a balanced approach to fitness, making it enjoyable and inclusive for all.
