Our Story

It all started…

where so many ideas do, at a bar. We were enjoying some après-ski drinks with friends. Those friends happen to be really great skiers and also happen to work at an outdoor company with professional athletes. We started talking about how we identify as average athletes - still athletes, but ones who have to go to work on Monday and just want to get down the ski mountain without a broken leg. We suggested that the company sponsor “average athletes” - specifically us. :) That didn’t happen, but Average Athlete, stuck and we’re continue to rep that average athlete life.
